Fosebria
The only fungicide in the range that moves both up and down inside the plant.

Fosetbria is a systemic fungicide based on fosetyl-aluminium, and it is unique in the range for moving in both directions inside the plant — up in the xylem and down in the phloem. That means a foliar spray can protect the roots, which is the only practical way to reach Phytophthora root and collar rot in an established orchard. It also works partly by switching on the plant's own defence response rather than by attacking the pathogen directly.
Characteristics
- True two-way systemic movement — a foliar spray protects the roots
- The practical answer to Phytophthora root and collar rot in established trees
- Controls downy mildew in vine and citrus diseases
- Stimulates the plant's own natural defence response
- FRAC Group P07 (33) — host defence induction, a category of its own
- Very low resistance risk
How it works
Fosetyl-Al is broken down in the plant to phosphonate, which acts in two ways: weak direct activity against oomycetes, and induction of the plant's own phytoalexin defence response. Its phloem mobility is what sets it apart — almost every other systemic fungicide moves only upward with the transpiration stream. FRAC P07 (33).
