Penconbria
A triazole built for powdery mildew, at low rates and short intervals.

Penconbria is a systemic triazole fungicide based on penconazole, focused on powdery mildew in vine, apple and cucurbits. It is absorbed quickly and moves within the leaf, giving both protective and curative activity, and its low use rate and short harvest interval let it sit comfortably in a tight spray programme during the period when mildew pressure is at its peak.
Characteristics
- Systemic, with protective and curative activity on powdery mildew
- Focused on vine, apple and cucurbit mildew
- Low use rates and a short pre-harvest interval
- Rapid uptake — rainfastness within a short window
- FRAC Group 3 (DMI / triazole)
- Fits the tight spray intervals of peak mildew pressure
How it works
Penconazole inhibits C14-demethylase, the enzyme fungi use to make ergosterol — the sterol that gives the cell membrane its structure. Without it the membrane cannot form and hyphal growth stops. Because the fungus is already inside the leaf when the systemic product arrives, there is genuine curative reach. FRAC Group 3.
