Indomebria
Two modes of action against Tuta absoluta, in one oil dispersion.

Indomebria pairs indoxacarb with abamectin against tomato leaf miner. The two actives attack unrelated targets — indoxacarb blocks the sodium channel from the closed side, abamectin opens chloride channels — so a population resistant to one is still controlled by the other. Against Tuta absoluta, which develops resistance faster than almost any pest in protected tomato, that pairing is the point.
Characteristics
- Two unrelated modes of action against the same pest
- Aimed squarely at Tuta absoluta in greenhouse tomato
- Abamectin adds translaminar movement into the mine itself
- Three-day pre-harvest interval
- Oil dispersion formulation improves leaf uptake
- IRAC Groups 22A and 6
How it works
Indoxacarb is bioactivated by the larva into a metabolite that blocks the voltage-gated sodium channel in its closed state; abamectin opens glutamate-gated chloride channels and paralyses the insect. Two targets at once means resistance to either alone does not save the pest. IRAC 22A + 6.
Dosing
| Crop | Target pest | Dose | PHI (days) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tomato (greenhouse) | Tomato leaf miner (Tuta absoluta) | 45 ml/100 L water | 3 |
Doses are indicative. The user is responsible for adjusting the dose to the growth stage of the crop and the conditions of the field. Apply under the guidance of an agricultural technician. Composition, method of application and dose may vary between countries for climatic, technical or legal reasons.
Application
How to apply
Use pheromone traps (1 trap per greenhouse) from the start of the season and check weekly. Once the first adult is caught, inspect at least 100 plants for eggs and larvae on flowers, leaves, stems and shoots; treat when 10 of 100 plants are infested. Re-inspect 5-6 days after application and repeat if needed. Apply early morning or late afternoon in calm weather.
Compatibility
Conduct a preliminary mixing test before combining with other products.
Always carry out a compatibility test before preparing a tank mixture.
Safety and handling
Full hazard and precautionary statements are printed on the label. Standard precautions: keep away from children, food and animal feed; wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection; do not contaminate water; do not apply during flowering.
Read the label before use. Do not use at home. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Use only as recommended and at the recommended dose.
