Sembria

Triflobria (fungicide)

A strobilurin that redistributes across the leaf and keeps working after rain.

Trifloxystrobin 50% WDG
Triflobria (fungicide)

Triflobria is a strobilurin fungicide based on trifloxystrobin. What distinguishes it within the class is mesostemic behaviour: it binds strongly to the leaf wax and then redistributes across and through the surface in vapour phase, so it reaches tissue the droplet missed and resists wash-off. The label is broad — scab, powdery mildew, Alternaria, rice blast and citrus brown spot.

Characteristics

  • Mesostemic — binds to leaf wax, then redistributes in vapour phase
  • Excellent rainfastness once dry
  • Broad label: scab, powdery mildew, Alternaria, rice blast, brown spot
  • Two-hour re-entry interval
  • Strobilurin greening effect on treated foliage
  • FRAC Group 11

How it works

Trifloxystrobin binds the Qo site of the cytochrome bc1 complex, blocking mitochondrial electron transport and ATP production. Spore germination is almost completely prevented, making it strongly preventive. Single-site, so resistance builds quickly if it is used alone. FRAC Group 11.
