Hormone plus ALS chemistry — for the weeds that shrug off one or the other.
Florabria pairs florasulam with a 2-ethylhexyl ester hormone herbicide for broadleaf weed control in cereals. The combination is aimed squarely at the difficult end of the spectrum: florasulam handles cleavers and the bedstraws, while the hormone component deals with the deep-rooted perennials such as field bindweed and thistle that ALS chemistry alone struggles to finish. The ester formulation penetrates waxy leaf surfaces better than a salt, which matters in dry conditions.

How it works
Florasulam inhibits ALS and halts branched-chain amino-acid synthesis. The hormone component mimics natural auxin, throwing growth regulation into chaos so the plant twists, distorts and dies. Ester formulations are volatile and can drift as vapour onto sensitive neighbouring crops — application conditions matter more than with a salt.
