Acetabria
Systemic control of sucking pests, with 14 to 21 days of protection from one pass.

Acetabria is a systemic insecticide based on acetamiprid. Applied to the leaf, it enters the plant's vascular system within hours and spreads through the tissue, so pests feeding anywhere on the treated plant take a lethal dose — including whitefly nymphs on the underside of the leaf and aphids inside a curled shoot, which a contact spray never wets. A single application protects for 14 to 21 days.
Characteristics
- Fully systemic — protects tissue the spray never touched
- 14 to 21 days of residual protection from a single application
- Strong on the difficult sucking complex: whitefly, aphid, psyllid, leafhopper
- Effective at low rates, typically 10-40 g/ha or 20-30 g/100 L water
- Zero-day pre-harvest interval on cotton and pistachio; 3 days on most greenhouse vegetables
- Water-soluble powder — dissolves cleanly with no tank residue
How it works
Acetamiprid binds irreversibly to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the insect's central nervous system, holding it permanently open. Nerve transmission runs out of control, the insect stops feeding and dies. Because vertebrates have a very different receptor structure, selectivity toward mammals is high. IRAC Group 4A.

Doses are indicative. The user is responsible for adjusting the dose to the growth stage of the crop and the conditions of the field. Apply under the guidance of an agricultural technician. Composition, method of application and dose may vary between countries for climatic, technical or legal reasons.
Application
How to apply
Cotton whitefly: sample 25 leaves from the lower, middle and upper stem of selected plants and count whitefly on all 100 leaves; treat at an average of 10 per leaf. Cotton aphid: treat at an average of 25 aphids per leaf, or after thinning at 50% seedling infestation — delay if beneficials are numerous. Colorado potato beetle: scout once daily mean temperature reaches 14-15 C; treat the first generation at the fourth-instar larva stage, the second generation after eggs have fully hatched.
Compatibility
Conduct a preliminary mixing test. Not phytotoxic when used as recommended.
Always carry out a compatibility test before preparing a tank mixture.
Safety and handling
Causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation. Toxic to fish and to bees — do not apply during flowering and do not contaminate water. Wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. Do not re-enter the treated area for 1 day. Store locked, ventilated and away from food and feed.
Read the label before use. Do not use at home. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Use only as recommended and at the recommended dose.
