MicroN Fe 13% EDTA

EDTA-chelated iron that stays available and reaches the leaf.

MicroN Fe 13% EDTA — Water-soluble microgranule — Sembria

MicroN Fe 13% EDTA is a fully water-soluble iron corrector in which every iron atom is protected by an EDTA chelate ring. Unprotected iron locks up within hours in most soils; chelated iron stays in solution and reaches the root and the leaf, which is why chlorosis reverses quickly after application. Use it preventively through the season, or curatively at the first yellowing between the veins of young leaves.

Characteristics

  • 13% iron, fully EDTA-chelated and 100% water soluble
  • Corrects interveinal chlorosis in young leaves within days
  • Stable in the tank and in the fertigation line
  • Suitable for both fertigation and foliar application
  • Broad compatibility with fertilisers and agrochemicals
  • Restores chlorophyll production, leaf colour and photosynthetic capacity

How it works

Iron is the cofactor of the enzymes that build chlorophyll. It is immobile in the plant, so deficiency always shows first on the youngest leaves as yellowing between green veins. The EDTA ring holds the iron in a soluble, plant-available form so it survives the journey through soil or spray solution to the site of uptake.

Doses are indicative. The user is responsible for adjusting the dose to the growth stage of the crop and the conditions of the field. Apply under the guidance of an agricultural technician. Composition, method of application and dose may vary between countries for climatic, technical or legal reasons.

Application

How to apply

Fertigation and foliar application. Keep the pH of the tank solution above 4 — EDTA chelates break down in acid conditions.

Compatibility

Compatible with other fertilisers. Tank solution pH must be above 4.

Always carry out a compatibility test before preparing a tank mixture.

Safety and handling

Not classified as hazardous under normal handling. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid dust inhalation.

Read the label before use. Do not use at home. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Use only as recommended and at the recommended dose.
